Batterers Intervention Program (BIP)

Accountability. Awareness. Change.

At Minds Over Matter, our Batterers Intervention Program (BIP) is a court-approved, educational therapy program designed to help individuals who have engaged in intimate partner violence or abusive behaviors. The goal of this program is not only to prevent future violence, but also to encourage deep personal reflection, emotional regulation, and respect-based relationships.

Our BIP is grounded in accountability and change — helping participants recognize harmful patterns, challenge beliefs that support abuse, and learn new, non-violent ways of interacting. Whether referred by the court or joining voluntarily, participants are welcomed with dignity while being held to a standard of honesty and responsibility.

  • Take Responsibility for Actions
  • Understand the Roots of Abuse
  • Build Respect-Based Skills
  • Prevent Future Violence
